David Beckham now designs for Hugo Boss
Fashion retailer Hugo Boss has brought the former England professional footballer on board as a designer. He is to help shape and influence the future men's collections.
The fashion company Hugo Boss has announced a multi-year strategic collaboration with English football icon David Beckham. The 49-year-old will be involved in the design of future collections. Beckham is to contribute his style expertise in all design phases, particularly in the context of capsule and seasonal collections. According to Hugo Boss, this collaboration will primarily drive forward and redesign the men's collections in the coming years.
Beckham is set to be part of Boss' global campaign from this year's autumn/winter collection. The two new partners will then present their first joint collection in spring/summer 2025. The focus will be on formal and casual menswear. Until then, you can find some shirts, trousers or shirts from Hugo Boss in our range
David Beckham: A man with style
One of my colleagues will be delighted with this news. Because he's a fan of David Beckham and his style. Two years ago, he wrote Olla wrote about Beckham in his article about men with good clothing style, whom he takes as role models: "I like his style, sometimes classically British, sometimes super-elegant, sometimes sporty. But above all: he always comes across as authentic." Perhaps we'll soon see him in Hugo Boss designed by David Beckham.
Beckham is not a newcomer to the industry anyway. He has already launched his own underwear line, modelled for various fashion houses and has also designed for H&M. Did you know that we already have a number of David Beckham brand products in our range? You'll find them here, especially in the areas of sunglasses, perfumes and deodorants.
Celebrities & fashion labels
Celebrities collaborating with fashion labels and allegedly co-designing new collections is nothing new: whether Madonna or Zlatan Ibrahimović with H&M, Penelope and Monica Cruz with the now insolvent Swiss fashion retailer Charles Vögele or Heidi Klum with Lidl (!). The list is long. The question often arises as to whether these people are really involved or just giving their name and face for money and advertising purposes. <p
My interests are varied, I just like to enjoy life. Always on the lookout for news about darts, gaming, films and series.
