Pre-damaged batteries or batteries that have become somewhat weak after long storage can now be discharged and then recharged. This way you can refresh these batteries and increase their capacity.

The battery defect detection function on the Powerline 8 ensures that defective and incorrectly inserted batteries and disposable batteries are detected and not charged. The charging status of the individual batteries is indicated by multi-coloured LEDs. Thanks to a modern, microprocessor-controlled charging technology with multiple overcharge protection, there is an automatic switchover to pulse conservation charging when the battery charge is complete - for best performance and a long battery life.
