AXAGON CLR-M2FAN Copper cooler for the ideal cooling of high-performance M.2 SSDs, especially NVMe. The universal cooler can be used for M.2 cards measuring 22 x 80 mm. The included thermal pads allow for cooler installation on both single-sided and double-sided M.2 SSD disks. The copper-finned heatsink core with aluminum housing is 8.6 mm high. Inside the housing, there is a fan with PWM speed control, which connects to the computer's motherboard via a 4-pin power connector. The fan speed can be automatically adjusted based on temperature to save energy or reduce noise. The copper cooler with fan and metal bracket ensures optimal dissipation of heat generated during the operation of the M.2 SSD. Additionally, it reduces the drive temperature by up to 30 °C. This extends the lifespan of the M.2 SSD and prevents the slowdown of drives, known as "thermal throttling." The cooler can be used not only with AXAGON M.2 adapters but also with M.2 (NGFF) slots on motherboards. Thanks to the metal frame, the heatsink dissipates heat from both sides of the M.2 drive, achieving maximum cooling efficiency.
