The Intel Core desktop processors of the 13th generation, called Raptor Lake, feature a chip layout with different CPU cores for various application scenarios. The Performance Cores deliver performance for computationally intensive applications, while the Efficiency Cores focus on energy efficiency under light load. The Raptor Lake processors support PCIe Gen 5.0 and 4.0, as well as DDR5 and DDR4. They are compatible with motherboards based on the Intel 700 and 600 chipset.
