Power, precision, and excellent stereo imaging are terms that perfectly describe the Kali Independence three-way monitor. The three-way construction allows each speaker element, with its own amplifier, to perform its duties in its own frequency range without compromises, achieving clarity in sound and very low total harmonic distortion. Compared to a traditional two-way monitor, the management of stereo image and spatial perception is extremely accurate.

The total power of the speaker is 140 watts (60w LF + 40w Mid + 40w HF), which achieves a maximum sound pressure of 114dB, providing sufficient sound for even larger mixing spaces. The Kali Audio IN-8 speaker also features Boundary EQ controls, allowing adjustment of the speaker's frequency response based on its placement. The V2 model has an updated power amplifier, resulting in significantly lower self-noise compared to the first generation. The cabinet itself has also been made more durable.
