The keepdrum soprano flute is an 8-hole flute with German fingering. The German fingering has the advantage that some notes (e.g. the F) are easier to finger than in the baroque fingering. This makes fingering easier, especially for children, and allows them to achieve success in making music more quickly. The flute can be disassembled into headjoint, centre joint and footjoint for cleaning. A cleaning rod is included in the scope of delivery. The tone holes and recessed grips are cleanly moulded and comfortable to hold. The flute is made of transparent neon-coloured plastic and is therefore easy to clean and insensitive to moisture. The instrument produces a clean sound and has precise intonation. The flute's two double holes also allow half-tones to be played.
