The keepdrum soprano flute is an 8-hole flute with German fingering. The German fingering has the advantage that some notes (e.g. the F) are easier to finger than in the baroque fingering. This makes fingering easier, especially for children, and they can achieve success more quickly when making music. The flute can be disassembled into headjoint, middlejoint and footjoint for cleaning. A cleaning rod is included in the delivery. The tone holes and recessed grips are cleanly carved and pleasant to hold. The flute is made of transparent neon-coloured plastic and is therefore easy to clean and insensitive to moisture. The instrument produces a clean sound and has an exact intonation. Due to the two double holes of the flute, semitones can also be fingered.
