You can also place your hand on the screen as you would when writing in a notepad. The tilt function of the Surface Pen is currently available with Surface Pro 5th Generation, Surface Pro 6, Surface Pro 7, Surface Pro X, Surface Book 2 (15 inches), Surface Book 2 (13 inches) (may require a firmware update), Surface Go, Surface Studio (may require a firmware update), and Surface Studio 2.
