The ePowerSwitch 1G is the smallest standalone Power Distribution Unit from Neol. With a current input of 10A and a power switch, it offers a wide range of applications along with extensive configuration and control options. The ePowerSwitch 1G allows for the control, management, and monitoring of a single device. The configuration of the power switch is flexible and convenient via the integrated web server.
Each socket can be turned on and off or restarted via IP or an RS232 interface. This can be done through the web interface, SNMP, or any serial interface. The sockets can be controlled individually or as a custom group. Sequential switching on and off effectively prevents power spikes.
The monitoring of the connected device is done using a ping or scan command over IP. In the event of a crash, an alert is automatically sent as an SNMP trap, email, or Syslog. The monitored device can be restarted based on defined rules. With the ePowerSwitch 1G, flexible and cost-effective solutions for energy management of servers or other devices are possible. The application areas are not limited to the IT environment.
