This optical module has been designed for use with the AX743 adapter module in one of the high-speed module slots of the Netgear GSM72xxPS and GSM73xxS switches. With the installed adapter module, the high-speed module slot can be used with standard 10GBASE-X SFP modules, providing fibre optic connectivity at a speed of 10 Gbps.
