Nikon has introduced a real APS-C powerhouse with the Z50ll. For 999 euros, you get a camera that is surprisingly well equipped and well equipped for all conceivable shooting situations. The Z50ll is therefore a sensible investment for many - whether as a compact second camera, for vlogging or as a comparatively inexpensive introduction to creative photography with a system camera.

- Very good image quality & high resolution up to ISO 3,200
- Even at high ISO values up to 6,400, detail rendition is comparatively good
- Very well manufactured, sealed camera housing made from a magnesium alloy
- The housing sits comfortably and very securely in the hand
- Decent resolution (1.04 million subpixels), rotatable and swivelling 3.2-inch display
- The display allows image control even for self-portraits

After five years, Nikon presents the successor to its first mirrorless DX camera. A lot has changed, especially in terms of autofocus, which recognises numerous subjects using AI. The flip-up monitor appeals to vloggers. Some might miss an image stabiliser (IBIS), but even the competition in this price range does not usually offer this...
