In Story Mode, you help rebuild Princess Peach's castle and play through over 100 levels designed by Nintendo. You'll surely find some inspiration for your own creations along the way. When you create a virtual room, up to four players can test the freshly built levels on their own consoles in local multiplayer mode as Mario, Luigi, Toad, and Toadette. Share your levels with players from all over the world. If you have a Nintendo Switch Online membership, you can become part of the Super Mario Maker 2 community. There, you can not only share your levels with other players but also try out the incredibly creative levels made by others. You can either jump right in or save the levels locally to play offline.
