The internal focusing means the front lens does not turn while focusing, allowing for easy use of polarizing and graduated filters. With the sturdy tripod mount ring, the lens can be fastened to a tripod with an optimized balance point. Due to the long focal distance, Walimex recommends using a tripod to achieve vibration-free exposure. With a comparatively short closest focusing distance of only 5 meters, the lens enables sensational magnification at 1300mm.
