The animal images by illustrator and graphic designer Dieter Braun are stylistically unique. The digitally edited vector drawings of wild animals, mammals, insects, amphibians, and birds have a lasting impact on the viewer. It is evident that Dieter Braun, who regularly travels to Africa and Australia, has observed the animals he depicts in the wild.
The calendars from previous years have received multiple awards and were chosen as the audience favorite at the Gregor Calendar Award among all submitted and displayed calendars. Dieter Braun, based in Hamburg, illustrates for major magazines and newspapers such as Time Magazine, New York Times, Süddeutsche Zeitung, Die Zeit, and Stern, and develops high-quality picture books. He studied communication design at the Folkwang School in Essen. The images in this calendar are based on the two picture books "The World of Wild Animals" in the South and North, published by Knesebeck Verlag, Munich.
