The SunSun HBL-803 Hang-on Filter is ideal for small aquariums that do not have enough space for the installation of an internal filter.

The aquarium hang-on filter can be connected to aquariums with a water volume of up to 60 liters. The pump performance is 500 liters per hour with only 6 watts of power. Compared to similar filters, this one operates very quietly. The water flow of the hang-on filter can be adjusted continuously, allowing it to be tailored to the size of the aquarium.

Installation:
Mounting the aquarium hang-on filter is very easy and can be completed in just a few minutes. The filter housing of the hang-on filter is simply hung on the side or back wall of the aquarium. Only the water inlet and outlet need to be installed in the aquarium. The inlet is variable and can be operated with or without surface skimming. The outlet can be done either through a flow nozzle or a pipe.

The aquarium filter is suitable for both freshwater and saltwater aquariums.

Filter media:
The hang-on filter comes with all necessary filter media. A surface skimmer retains coarse dirt and fine particles. A multi-stage filter system thoroughly cleans the aquarium water.

Of course, the aquarium hang-on filter can also be individually equipped, for example, with biological filter media such as zeolite or bio-filter rings. However, care must be taken with the proper placement of the filter media. If the filter media obstructs the water flow of the aquarium filter, it could overflow.

The compact hang-on filter has dimensions of 190 x 275 x 315 mm and is made of impact- and scratch-resistant plastic.
