Snapmaker Ray 20W Laser Engraver and Cutter
Product details
Ray is Snapmaker's first standalone 20W / 40W laser engraver and cutter, equipped with Air Assist and offering a working area of 400 mm x 600 mm. It features Snapmaker's signature industrial-grade linear rails and continues the long-standing commitment to producing top-notch laser products. The embedded beam formers compress the laser spot of each laser diode. The splitter then combines the laser beams from the eight diodes using state-of-the-art beam combining technology, resulting in higher energy density and output power. Air Assist can be controlled via Luban, eliminating the need for manual on and off switching for different layers. As with the Artisan series, industrial-grade linear rails are used to ensure minimal wobble even during fast CNC operations. The same industrial-grade linear rails are also utilized in the XY axis of the Ray to enable high-speed movements and long-lasting operation. Luban offers an extensive library of preset templates, including common patterns, shapes, and symbols, allowing you to create a design in just a few minutes. Ray provides a workspace of 400 mm x 600 mm. With more space for creativity, you can tackle large projects such as cards, furniture models, and door signs. A cylindrical foot can be attached not only to the machine but also to the laser bed, enabling you to work with materials up to 160 mm thick. Even thick objects like guitars can be easily placed for engraving. The enclosure for Ray can reduce the hazards of the Class 4 laser to a lower class.
