With a slight pressure on the tool, cores are contacted and cut in just one operation. Manual stripping or screwing is not required here. The integrated scissors can be switched off if necessary, for example, if cutting off a residual wire end is not desired. A sensor ensures that the shears are only activated once the wire has been pressed deep enough into the contact. The sensor can be deactivated (OFF) if contacts are connected twice. Furthermore, the LSA Sensor No. 40 has a fold-out pulling hook for removing cores from the LSA contact as well as a fold-out unlocking blade for releasing LSA modules from the mounting bracket. The tool is designed for up to 200,000 connections (with 0.4 mm wire diameter).
