The Charly ARF has been optimized for modern electric drives and convinces with fantastic flight characteristics. The model is fully aerobatic and can fly over a wide speed range without being critical. The question was, can the Charly cult model be further improved? The clear answer: Yes, you can. Thanks to modern manufacturing methods such as laser cutting of components and selected lightweight materials. A modern brushless electric drive also contributes to the enormous weight saving. The take-off weight could therefore be reduced by about 1000g (you read correctly: 1 kilogram). The wide bonnet ensures a light braking effect and thus a calm and even flight pattern, just as it did in aerobatics when flying downwards. The Charly ARF already flies with a 3-cell LiPo battery (capacity 3500-4500mAh recommended) very well through all aerobatic figures. Pilots who are particularly hungry for performance can also use a 4-cell LiPo battery (14.8V) on request.
