Xiaomi wins in the price range up to 400 euros. Samsung doesn't have anything better to offer here than the A55. You have to pay more for a Samsung at this level, such as the brand new S24 FE (see individual test on page 83).

Double victory: The Poco X6 Pro offers the best and also the cheapest overall package under 300 euros. But the other contenders are real alternatives with special strengths. The Galaxy A55 is only behind the Poco because of its higher price - it is so good that it is not only suitable for Samsung fans...

Samsung has once again put together a strong overall package with the Galaxy A55 and rectified the biggest weakness of its predecessor, its mediocre performance. However, the even better equipped Galaxy S23 FE is also available at the mobile's introductory price. In our opinion, it is therefore worth waiting until the price has fallen before making a purchase, or you can go straight for the FE model.
