Bei der UE Boom 3 handelt es sich um einen starken Allrounder, der auf zusätzliche Funktionen Wert legt und auch von der Lautstärke her einen grossen Alarm macht. Zudem gefällt die Optik und die starke Verarbeitung. Etwas schade ist das Fehlen des Klinken-Ports und die leicht abfallenden Tieftöne.

Die Ultimate Ears Boom 3 sehen auf den ersten Blick wie ganz normale Outdoor-Speaker aus, können aber erstaunlich viel. Die Soundqualität erweist sich im Test als gut, die Laufzeit ist ordentlich und zudem bringen die Lautsprecher einige zusätzliche Features mit, die man nicht unbedingt erwarten würde.

Wie schon die Vorgänger überzeugen auch der UE Boom 3 und der UE Megaboom 3 vor allem mit ihrem hervorragenden Sound. Die Robustheit sowie der Party-Modus und der Equalizer sind schöne Zugaben. Der Magic Button konnte mich in der Praxis bisher aber nicht von seiner Notwendigkeit überzeugen...
