of being lured by the traditional "white gold", Francis Cayouette is breaking new ground for the Danish brand Stelton. On the outside, the stoneware has a matt finish reminiscent of cast iron; on the inside, the glaze is shiny to make the crockery easier to clean. The sugar bowl has a classic squat shape, whereby the French designer relies on a round cylinder shape with a loosely attached wooden lid. The latter has a recess that holds a sugar spoon securely without the lid having to be placed crookedly on the bowl.
