Napoleon

Napoleon is a Canadian company with over 46,000 square feet of manufacturing space and over 400 employees. In North America, Napoleon is the largest privately held company manufacturing quality wood and gas burning fireplaces and stoves, gas grills and charcoal grills, as well as outdoor living products and waterfalls.
The company's history began in 1976 with company owner Wolfgang Schroeter. That year he started a small steel fabrication business in Barrie, Ontario, Canada, where he began manufacturing steel railings. At that time, no one could have foreseen the success of Wolf Steel Ltd. and the Napoleon Fireplaces and Napoleon Grill that followed later.

The original stove model was two-door, made of solid cast iron and was manufactured in a 93 m² manufacturing area. In 1981 the name "Napoleon" was born. This name was also used to produce the first oven model with a single glass door made of heat-resistant Pycroceram glass-ceramic - a first in this industry at the time. This was the first of many important milestones for Wolf Steel. Over the next few years, demand for Napoleon wood stoves grew steadily beyond the borders of Ontario and Canada, and the company evolved into a worldwide manufacturer of luxury barbecue, especially gas barbecue. Today, the brand stands out among the many different manufacturers due to its sophisticated technologies, elegant looks and the best workmanship.

The Napoleon grills offer various highlights in their features for many needs of grill lovers. For a delicious crust on each steak, without the meat is completely cooked through, provides the Sizzle Zone of Napoleon. With the ceramic infrared burner built into the gas grill, temperatures of up to 980°C can easily be reached, which was difficult to achieve with conventional burners. Napoleon gas grills also offer the possibility to grill with charcoal - in the gas grill. This is achieved by means of a special insert which allows the charcoal to be ignited directly by the gas burner. In addition to the wide range of gas grills, Napoleon also has some charcoal grills in its range. Here the selection is not too extensive, but there are both kettle grills and smokers. All in all, the Napoleon grills offer a suitable alternative for every grilling need, whether for professionals or hobby cooks.
