Warranty insurance 

The statutory warranty is often over sooner than you would like. That's why we offer you the option of extending the warranty period by 1, 2 or 3 years for a large number of products. You can choose the desired warranty extension directly when purchasing the product.

The warranty extension is an insurance product from Helvetia Versicherung-Aktiengesellschaft ( provided by bolttech Europe Agency or Helvetia Global Solutions). The insurance covers the financial consequences of technical faults due to material, design and manufacturing defects after the expiry of the statutory warranty. Insurance cover is provided in Germany and for temporary journeys worldwide. An exchange or replacement with a time value credit or voucher is possible once per insured device.

If damage occurs to your insured device, you report it to us via the service case registration. There we will explain the next steps to resolve your issue. Claims for compensation during the extension period are settled exclusively by our insurance partners.

Please note that technical defects caused by external influences (e.g. damage caused by dropping, water or wear and tear) are rejected by most manufacturers both during the regular statutory warranty period and in the case of a warranty extension.
