Are the legs smooth after 5 weeks?

I am satisfied with the application of the Braun Silk-Expert Pro 5. Now the results have to speak for themselves: Hair-free or more of a hair pull?
Do you prefer IPL to shaving? I have been looking into this question over the last few weeks. The razor hardly takes up any space and removes my hairs relatively quickly. However, if I were to be consistent, I would have to repeat the procedure every three days and damage my skin in the process. With an IPL device, there should be peace and quiet in the box. At least the Braun Silk-Expert Pro 5 promises almost permanent hair removal. I wrote about its use a good month ago.
The device works well: simple, quick and pain-free. But do the results speak for themselves? After a good month, I can say that the Silk-Expert is doing its job. But I still need a little more time with it. My legs are not (yet) hair-free. I didn't expect that at this stage either. However, I do notice that the hair is growing a little slower and there are areas on my calf that only have a fine fuzz. Braun says that up to 12 weekly sessions may be necessary before you achieve a satisfactory result and can move on to the so-called top-up sessions. Then you only flash as needed to maintain the status quo.
Not for sun worshippers
I will definitely continue with this treatment because it's pleasant and quick. After showering, I slip into my bathrobe, switch on the TV and I'm ready to flash. Perfect for a rainy Sunday. Autumn and winter are the best times for IPL treatment anyway, as the sun rarely comes out. You should avoid it, especially at the beginning of the treatment, so that your skin is not unnecessarily irritated. In addition, the procedure works best with a light complexion and dark hair. Tanned skin would only weaken your results. That's why the following applies to tanning beds in particular in this case and for the sake of your skin in general: please avoid them.

Long story short. I like the Silk-Expert Pro 5, both in terms of the application and the premature results. I only use my razor once a week and my skin shows no reaction to the treatment. I don't even have any reddened areas, which can occur as a temporary side effect. However, there was a slight smell of burnt hair from time to time. It took some getting used to, but at least I knew that something was really happening.
