There are also two adaptive triggers integrated into the L2 and R2 buttons. These can vibrate separately. So when you're about to fire an arrow, you may feel the bowstring tense up.
The "Create" function replaces the share button
You may have noticed that the share button is missing. But it hasn't disappeared - on the contrary, Sony has implemented it in the new 'Create' function. Exactly what that means won't be known until later.
Another new feature: the controller has a built-in microphone, so you can talk to your friends online without having to use a headset. This is particularly handy for anyone playing with speakers. The Dualsense charges via USB-C and, like its predecessors, has a built-in battery. Sony is therefore following the same path as before, while Microsoft continues to opt for replaceable batteries. Sony is a little bolder in terms of colour, using a two-tone design for the first time. The light bar now covers the entire touchpad and no longer lights up only on the front. The Dualsense is therefore probably not suitable as an emergency torch.
The new controllers are currently on their way to developers so that they can integrate the new features into their games.
