Lego Icons announces a Lamborghini Countach
In July, Lego Icons is releasing a Lamborghini model for adults. The occasion is the birthday of the legendary sports car.
Have you been dreaming of your own Lamborghini for a long time? Then this news should make you happy: the Lego Icons theme world is being expanded to include a Lamborghini Countach 5000 Quattrovalvole. And - unlike the original - it costs a mere 179.99 euros or 189 francs. The Lego Icons building set will bear the number 10337 and will be available in stores from 4 July 2024. Lego Insider customers will even be able to purchase the new set from 1 July.
An icon turns 50
According to Lego, the occasion for the new set is the 50th anniversary of the Italian sports car: the Lamborghini Countach was produced in various versions from 1974 to 1990. The models differed accordingly in terms of technical details and became increasingly powerful. Nevertheless, the design of the Countach was never significantly changed, and the angular design and sharp lines still have cult status today. A total of around 2000 of these cars were produced by Lamborghini.
Many authentic details
The Lego counterpart is completely white and consists of 1506 parts.

According to Lego, it should have some authentic details: including a detailed Cockpit and working steering. The scissor doors, boot and bonnet can be opened. The sports car also has a V12 engine, large tail lights and a rear spoiler. It has silver-coloured deep dish rims, i.e. wider rims that look special. The Lamborghini model is 9 centimetres high, 34 centimetres long and 16 centimetres wide.
Lego Icons already has cars, including the latest model in the range: the McLaren MP4/4 & Ayrton Senna.
