It was one of the big surprises of this year's E3: Ubisoft is launching a Mario game - in "Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle", Nintendo's game hero meets the cheeky, chaotic, cute Rabbids.

Mario and the Rabbids embark on a fine adventure in the Mushroom Kingdom, which has been turned upside down by the mischievous Rabbids. Not a classic Mario game - but one with lots of allusions. A total of eight heroes are available as players, with Mario, Luigi, Peach and Yoshi each having a Rabbid duo at their disposal, each with different characteristics and strengths that can be used to complement each other in the game.

In epic adventures and crazy battles, the eight heroes try to save their friends and restore order in the Mushroom Kingdom. Each character has their own arsenal of weapons, and teams of 3 characters are controlled in battles. The game will be released on 29 August 2017 exclusively for the Nintendo Switch in two editions.

The strictly limited Collectors Edition includes the game, the soundtrack, 12 trading cards and a 16.5cm high premium figure of Rabbid Mario!
