The best product I have ever tested

I have been regularly testing products for Galaxus for two years. Everything from "useless" to "awesome" has been there. Now I have tested the perfect product.

The product is simple and I need it every day. I haven't wasted a thought on it yet. Cling film. It just sits in its cardboard box and waits for me to wrap or cover something. Then it takes me a minute to find the cut, I pull it out of the cardboard box irregularly and finally I can't tear it off because the lid with the perforated prongs has already fallen off after the third use. Because I'm lazy, I tear the film so hard that it comes off the roll completely warped and unusable and the game starts all over again.

Jet cutting is salvation

Retention film is like a biro. I've never used them up. They disintegrate after a few metres. That's why I bought Jetcut. Or rather: three Jetcuts, because that's the minimum order quantity. High risk. What if this film is also unusable? High Reward! It's the best thing I've ever bought.

140 metres of cling film happiness! Pure joy. The sturdy cardboard box leaves no doubt: Jetcut is here to stay. The system is simple and ingenious. A cutter is attached to a rail. I use it to pull the film to the desired length and move the small cutter boat to the other side to cut the film. And with a perfect fit. Because the box is so big and a small cardboard flap prevents it from falling back, the film doesn't get tangled. So it is always to hand.

The film itself is perfect. It sticks to bowls and plates and seals everything airtight. I rarely tore it, which can happen with other films. According to the manufacturer, Jetcut can withstand temperatures from -20° to +130° Celsius. I haven't tried this yet. I trust the manufacturer.

The icing on the cake for me is that the box fits perfectly in my drawer. That makes the top score perfect. For me, there's only Jetcut left. <p

When I flew the family nest over 15 years ago, I suddenly had to cook for myself. But it wasn’t long until this necessity became a virtue. Today, rattling those pots and pans is a fundamental part of my life. I’m a true foodie and devour everything from junk food to star-awarded cuisine. Literally. I eat way too fast.
