Power for sharp images and full HD videos

The EOS 77D makes it easy to take atmospheric, detailed and sharp pictures. With 24.2 megapixels, maximum ISO values from 100 to 25,600 and a 45-point autofocus system, the 77D gives you everything your photographer's heart desires. With the 45 cross sensors, continuous shooting of up to 6 images per second is possible. Combined with the dual-pixel CMOS autofocus, precise focus tracking, i.e. continuous focussing, is child's play. The autofocus is a live view autofocus, so you can see immediately and live what is being focussed and how. According to research by Canon, it is currently the fastest Live View autofocus in the world*. Full HD videos are possible at up to 60 frames per second. The EOS 77D has a five-axis digital image stabiliser integrated into the camera to ensure that filming is as shake-free as possible. The touchscreen also makes filming much easier. More on this in the next section.

The swivelling touchscreen makes photography and filming easier

Intuitive operation with touchscreen and control dials

For beautiful photos and videos, it is important that you can operate the camera quickly and intuitively. With the EOS 77D, you can do this thanks to the touchscreen and configurable control dials.

Rotatable and swivelling touchscreen

You can rotate and swivel the 3-inch touchscreen. This allows you to take pictures of your subjects from unusual angles without having to contort yourself completely. The touchscreen has a high resolution of 1.04 million pixels. Operation is similar to your smartphone: simply swipe or zoom to view your pictures. All camera settings are also displayed on the touchscreen.

Individually programmable setting dials

Customisable control dials make it even easier for you to operate the EOS 77D quickly and easily. You'll never miss an important moment in a scene just because you can't make your settings quickly enough. The speed dial on the back offers you direct and ergonomic control of your 77D. Two additional dials allow you to quickly set the aperture and shutter speed and adjust them if necessary.

Touch screen and customisable dials make operation easy.

Control and share images with your smartphone

With the Canon EOS 77D, you can set up permanent Bluetooth pairing between the camera and your smartphone or tablet. This allows you to easily upload your photos and videos to your smartphone or tablet and share them with your friends. With the Wi-Fi connection, you can also control and trigger the 77D with your smartphone.

*Among digital cameras for interchangeable lenses with APS-C sensor. As of February 2017, based on Canon research. Measured according to CIPA-compliant guidelines and internal measurement procedures with an EF-S 18-55mm 1:4-5.6 IS STM lens, with One-Shot AF mode in Live View mode.
