These are the deadlines to ensure your order arrives in time for Christmas

Christmas is getting closer by the day – as is the deadline for orders to arrive in time for the festivities.

Our warehouse has been bustling since mid-November. Black Friday is a peak, of course, but the parcel packing must go on! We’re doing our best to ship your orders quickly. But to ensure your gifts arrive in time for Christmas, please make sure to place your orders soon enough.

Deadline for orders: 21 December, 1 p.m.

There are two ways to check if your order will reach you before Christmas within Germany.

First, you can see the availability of each product, including the estimated delivery date. This shows you when your order is expected to arrive. Please note: delivery times can vary greatly from product to product. If you’re ordering a gift, make sure the estimated delivery date isn’t past 24 December.

In addition, products in stock at our warehouse are the safest bet. These are indicated by a tick next to the estimated delivery date. These will also be marked by an image of a parcel on a sled on the product page. You’ll receive these products on time if you order by 21 December 2023 at 1 p.m. You may still get lucky with orders placed after this date, but we can’t guarantee it.

Please keep in mind that this only applies to conventional parcels. For parcels larger than 1.2 metres or heavier than 31.5 kilogrammes, longer shipping times apply. These shipments are processed manually at the parcel centre, which can take about a week. So, the order deadline for forwarding goods is 15 December 2023 at 1 p.m.; for bulky goods, it’s 19 December 2023 at 1 p.m.

What happens when the parcel leaves our warehouse

There’s always a level of uncertainty for late orders. We ship your parcels through DHL – and we’re far from the only ones to do so. DHL’s systems can reach their limits shortly before Christmas, meaning delivery times aren’t as reliable as throughout the rest of the year. If you want to be on the safe side, place your order on time and don’t wait until the last moment.

For the eleventh hour: gift vouchers

Missed all the deadlines? Are you at your wit’s end, having lost all trust in everyone and everything? Worry not – we have your saving grace: digital vouchers! You’ll even be able to gift this digital ticket to retail therapy by text message. All you need to do is forward the voucher code. Or you can invest a little more time and affection, print out the voucher and put it in an envelope you’ve decorated yourself. That probably looks a bit more impressive. You can select the value of the voucher: anything from 10 to 500 Euro is possible.
