Transparent, Peelable nail polish
Nail polishes give up the ghost at some point. Then they become viscous and can hardly be applied. The usual recommendation is to add a few drops of nail polish remover. I have a better solution.
My favourite nail polish no longer works. After years of use, the consistency has become so thick that drying on the nails is no longer a matter of a few minutes, but just under an hour. To make matters worse, the polish is no longer available anywhere. This is the opportunity to test the "Nail Polish Thinner" from essence. This is designed to thin thickened polishes that are no longer easy to apply.
To do this, I add some of the clear liquid to the nail polish. I start with three drops, screw the polish back on and shake the bottle. I test the texture on one of my nails: it can be applied thinly again and feels like I've just bought it. All ten nails are quickly painted twice - and dry after a few minutes. That's how I imagined it would be.
The thinner smells like nail polish remover. Just a touch more intense. And no, I don't think that's a coincidence. It's not for nothing that many people recommend simply thinning out the nail polish with a few drops of nail polish remover. I have done the same in the past. However, I was never really satisfied with the result. On the one hand, the nail polish remover was difficult to dispense due to the wide opening, and on the other hand, it often contains nourishing ingredients such as oils. I always had the feeling that these didn't mix well with the polish formula and the result was streaky when applied. The thinner here, on the other hand, does its job perfectly.

As a massive Disney fan, I see the world through rose-tinted glasses. I worship series from the 90s and consider mermaids a religion. When I’m not dancing in glitter rain, I’m either hanging out at pyjama parties or sitting at my make-up table. P.S. I love you, bacon, garlic and onions.
