Product details
The C314 is a high-quality condenser microphone designed for studio and live applications. With four switchable polar patterns, the C314 can be used in a variety of ways. You can choose between omnidirectional, cardioid, supercardioid, and figure-eight patterns, allowing for direct recordings, targeted captures, and ambient room recordings.
With a minimal self-noise of just 8 dB (A), the C314 is one of the quietest microphones available. It features a wide dynamic range and offers outstanding sound quality due to its fine resolution. The dual-diaphragm capsule is gold-coated and is also used in the classic C414 model.
To ensure optimal sound settings, the C314 includes a switchable -20 dB pad and a switchable low-cut filter. Overloads are reliably indicated by an LED.
Included in the package: windscreen, elastic spider mount H85, stand adapter, aluminum transport case.
Summary: Versatile usage with four switchable polar patterns (omnidirectional/cardioid/supercardioid/figure-eight) | Outstanding sound quality thanks to minimal self-noise of just 8 dB (A) | LED overload indicator | Low-cut filter effectively reduces unwanted low-frequency noise | The elastic capsule suspension efficiently minimizes mechanical noise and resonance vibrations.
