Am Ende steht das Ergebnis, dass sich die enormen Preisunterschiede zwischen dem Paperwhite, dem Voyage und dem Oasis technisch kaum bemerkbar machen. Allenfalls optisch und in der Bedienung gibt es kleinere Unterschiede. Das Display ist bei allen drei Geräten nahezu identisch - Abweichungen gibt es lediglich in der Art der Beleuchtung...

Der Kindle Voyage ist teuer, aber ein Topgerät. Vor allem die hohe Auflösung des E-Ink-Bildschirms sorgt für mehr Lesegenuss. Die enge Bindung an Amazon nervt.
Tasten an den Bildschirmrändern. PIN-Code-Sperre möglich. Auswahl beschränkt auf Bücher aus dem Amazon-Shop. Buchkauf und Synchronisation (nur über WLAN) klappen tadellos. Keine PDF-Anpassung, aber Zoomfunktion. Gibt Feedback in Form von Vibrationen.
Der Kindle Voyage 3G ist seinen Preis von rund 250 Euro absolut wert. Der eBook-Reader aus dem Hause Amazon zeigt sich als gute mobile Alternative, er besitzt eine gute Ausstattung, aber vor allem beim Tempo und auch der Qualität des Displays kann er überzeugen.
Außerhalb der Amazonwelt lassen sich mit dem Amazon Kindle Voyage keine Bücher laden, ansonsten ist der Komfort hier jedoch sehr hoch. Die Displaydarstellung ist exzellent, die Handhabung ist toll und auch bei der Laufzeit des Akkus kann der eBook-Reader im Test vollauf überzeugen.
