- clear audio reproduction
- high wearing comfort
- Favourable price
- mediocre microphone quality
- Next most expensive model offers more for a small extra charge
The test of the AOCGH200 shows that you can hardly go wrong at a price of currently just under 35 euros. Audio reproduction is clear and crisp, it's comfortable to wear and offers basic controls on the wired remote - but it doesn't get more exciting than that. The in-house GH300 is more of a problem, offering RGB lighting and 7.1 surround sound, but only costs around ten euros more...
- Very loud when needed
- long jack cable
- Unclean processing
- No options
- jack only
A headset for 20 euros in the test field? Sounds like the clear loser, but the AOC GH200 is okay for the price. Sound, microphone and wearing comfort could be better, but as an entry-level model for gamers, the low-cost technology is fine. And: No gaming headset was louder in the test.
