The converter converts any IDE, SATA or SATA SSD hard drive into an external USB drive.

The Aplic USB 3.0 to SATA/ IDE converter is ideal for backing up data (videos, pictures, music, documents, etc.) or for testing hard disks and drives. For example, create a backup, copy or archive your most important data on your PC. This can be particularly advantageous if you want to read out data from an old internal hard drive on a new PC system or perform a data recovery from a defective external hard drive. With the adapter it is also possible to operate a SATA drive as well as an IDE drive on the computer at the same time. Thanks to the USB 3.0 specification, high data transfer rates of up to 5 Gb/s can be achieved.
