Die kurze Akku-Laufzeit bei häufiger Nutzung war seit jeher der Schwachpunkt vieler iPhone-Modelle. Einzige Ausnahme ist das ältere iPhone 6 Plus: Mit knapp 15 Stunden bei intensiver Nutzung verfehlt es nur knapp das Treppchen, gerade beim Lesen verbraucht es weniger Saft als viele Konkurrenten. Allerdings ist das Arbeitstempo mittlerweile etwas träge.

Darüber hinaus ist das große iPhone jedoch über alle Zweifel erhaben und macht eine besonders starke Figur mit seinem App-Store, dem prima Handling, toller Multimedialeistung und auch im Bereich Internet.
