Simply insert the SD card into the card reader, and your iPad or iPhone will automatically open the Photos app, which organizes your photos into Moments, Collections, and Years. If you use iCloud Photo Library, all your photos and videos are securely stored in full resolution in iCloud and automatically appear in the Photos app on all your devices. With iCloud Photo Sharing, you can share your photos and videos with exactly the people you want to show them to.

The Lightning to SD Card Reader supports standard photo formats, including JPEG and RAW, as well as SD and HD video formats like H.264 and MPEG-4. It supports data transfer rates up to USB 3 on the 12.9" iPad Pro and up to USB 2 on the 9.7" iPad Pro and all other iPad and iPhone models. USB 3 is only supported on the iPad Pro.
