Product details
As part of the Wave 2 evolution of the 802.11ac standard, Multi-User MIMO technology has been introduced. By using multi-user MIMO, this device can stream data to multiple devices simultaneously.
This allows your wireless network to deliver faster throughput to each connected client. This means faster downloads and lag-free streaming for your devices. The 802.11ax standard is the next generation of the WLAN standard, which has been under continuous development for years and once again introduces innovation with this version, also known as WLAN 6. The standard builds on the benefits of the 802.11ac standard and extends them with efficiency, flexibility and scalability. It enables higher speeds and capacity for next-generation applications, both in new and existing networks. This network-ready device is powered by Power over Ethernet (PoE) over the LAN cable. The main advantage of PoE is that you don't need a power cable. This allows you to install Ethernet-connected devices in hard-to-reach places or in areas where lots of cables would get in the way. You save installation costs and, if desired, you can increase the reliability of the connected devices by using a central uninterruptible power supply (UPS).
