The ASUS RP-AC66 is a dual-band AC1750 WLAN repeater compatible with existing 2.4GHz and 5GHz routers and other devices. It supports easy one-click WPS installation and has a built-in LED indicator to help you find the best location for your home or office. Roaming Assist technology also ensures that the connection is always established with the strongest signal.1 The exclusive ExpressWay technology automatically optimizes the connection for maximum dual-band data throughput.

Faster WLAN with greater range
The RP-AC66 WLAN Repeater has two powerful external MIMO antennas to eliminate wireless holes and extend the signal coverage area of existing WLAN routers. In repeater mode, it extends the WLAN network to the furthest corners of the house - even in areas that are otherwise difficult to access. Its lightning-fast 802.11ac speeds of up to 1750 Mb/s make it ideal for extending existing 802.11ac WLAN networks. Thus, the repeater enables reliable access to the Internet from any point at the highest speed for devices such as notebooks, tablets, smartphones, game consoles and smart TVs.

...Bei der Mechanik hatte Asus clevere Ideen: Nicht nur die beiden Antennen lassen sich zur Optimierung des Empfangs bieten - auch der Stromstecker ist drehbar. So kann der Repeater etwa auch quer in einer Wandsteckdose platziert werden. Die Funkleistungen des RP-AC66 waren im Praxistest gut.
