The B450 chipset is the heart of the ASUS TUF B450-Plus II Gaming motherboard and has been specifically optimized for the Ryzen CPUs of the 2000 series (Pinnacle Ridge). B450 motherboards support all features of the second-generation Ryzen processors, such as the overclocking feature XFR2. Additionally, the motherboards support up to 128 GB of RAM with a guaranteed clock rate of 2,666 megahertz. Through overclocking, significantly higher clock rates are also possible, depending on the motherboard, and the B450 chipset also enables processor overclocking.
