TUF gaming cards use our proven Axial-Tech fan design, with three fans working in tandem to meet the thermal requirements of NVIDIA's new High Octane design. The fans are equipped with double fan ball
bearings, which ensure consistent performance and longer life compared to sleeve bearings and other bearing types. The two side fans rotate counterclockwise to minimise turbulence and maximise air distribution across the heat sink. All three fans stall when GPU temperatures are below 50°C, allowing you to play less demanding games or perform light tasks in relative silence. The fans start up again when the temperature is above 55 degrees Celsius, with a speed curve that balances performance and acoustics for work and play.
