Product details
More than a little powerful. Featuring the tiniest case we’ve ever made, these mighty small earbuds are packed with incredibly big sound.
- Fully-custom acoustic architecture
- Ergonomically-angled acoustic nozzles for a natural fit
- Compatible with both iOS and Android, including one-touch pairing
Designed for music first. The cleanly balanced tuning gives you the full range and emotion of all your favourite music with richly detailed clarity and power with accurate bass reproduction.
Custom dual-layer drivers. Each earbud is powered by dual-layer transducers designed to minimise micro-distortions across the frequency curve, and purposefully positioned parallel with each acoustic nozzle to deliver sound directly to your ears.
Laser-cut venting. Staying true to our music-first approach, the earbuds’ laser-cut vents were engineered to improve bass performance – and they also gently reduce air pressure for added comfort.
Four ear tip sizes. To optimise comfort and passive noise isolation for diverse ear types and shapes, Beats Solo Buds come with four ear tip sizes — large, medium, small and extra-small.
iOS and Android friendly. Beats Solo Buds are ready to pair with your Apple or Android device straight out of the box. This native compatibility means seamless one-touch pairing, automatic pre-pairing across your devices, plus Find My or Find My Device, for everybody.
Clear calls and Class 1 Bluetooth. Each earbud is equipped with a custom-designed microphone powered by an advanced noise-learning algorithm to help deliver exceptional call quality. Enjoy extended range with fewer drop-outs thanks to industry-leading Class 1 Bluetooth.

- Good sound
- high wearing comfort
- handy case
- Charge only at power source
- Few app functions
The Beats Solo Buds are good in-ears at a fair price. The sound is good, the wearing comfort is high. The battery life is sensationally long, so Beats can do without a battery in the charging socket. This makes them nice and small and light. The fast charging via smartphone and computer is also impressive.
- Extremely small and lightweight charging case
- Many additional functions for iOS and Android
- mid-range sound
- Charging case without its own battery
- No USB charging cable included
The Beats Solo Buds for just under 90 euros are among the cheapest branded in-ear headphones on the market. The sound was ok, the controls reliable and the wearing comfort high. Less is more: for this price, these in-ears can almost be described as disposable.
- Very long individual runtime
- Quickly recharged
- Compact case and low weight
- No active noise cancellation (ANC)
- No ambient awareness mode
- Charging cradle does not allow the buds to be recharged
- Compatible with Android and iOS
- Extremely lightweight case
- Good workmanship
- No battery in the charging case
- Somewhat flat sound
- No water or dust protection
- Good sound
- Four pairs of silicone attachments included in the scope of delivery
- Long runtime and fast charging
- very favourable
- Wearing comfort not optimal
- especially during operation
"Apple's subsidiary Beats is daring and delivers the Solo Buds with a case that does not have its own battery. This means that the earphones can only be charged when the case is connected to a charger via USB-C. Nothing works without a power bank or socket. On the other hand, the small box in which the buds are transported is slightly smaller than that of the competition...
