Das BlackBerry Z30 ist ein Smartphone mit einem sehr gut verarbeiteten Gehäuse. Aufgrund des Blackberry 10 OS muss man jedoch beim App-Store Kompromisse machen, zumal auch das Handling unterdurchschnittlich ist. Im Bereich Telefon und Akku erzielt das Smartphone im direkten Vergleich wiederum überdurchschnittliche Resultate.
