Blackrapid Double Breathe

The two straps are essentially the same as the Sport and Sport Left models. The straps are connected to each other via two straps. They are worn similar to a backpack on both shoulders. This carrying method and the wide shoulder pads of the straps ensure that the weight of the cameras is optimally distributed, so that the cameras do not become a burden even after prolonged carrying. The whole thing even works with two SLR cameras equipped with heavy zoom lenses. Both straps work according to the sling strap principle. This allows quick access to the cameras attached to the strap at any time. All these features make the Double a perfect companion for professional photographers working with two cameras. And of course, you can separate the two straps to use them separately. Both straps have a wide, ergonomically shaped shoulder rest. These are a major factor in the high ergonomics of the double. Thanks to their angled shape, the shoulder pads are perfectly adapted to the body. The two straps can therefore not slip easily. The shoulder pads have a very large surface area, so that they distribute the weight of the cameras attached to the straps over a large area. In the rear area, the shoulder pads are the widest, so that they bear the most weight there, which relieves the shoulders. In addition, the shoulder pads have a slight cushioning effect, which means they cushion the camera weight somewhat. All this ensures that even the heavy weight of two heavy SLR camera is almost not felt. And that even after prolonged carrying.

The shoulder pads of the straps are multi-layered. They consist of an air-permeable mesh fabric on the side facing the body, a foam core with air holes and a mesh structure fabric on the top. This structure makes the shoulder pads particularly breathable. Possible sweating under the shoulder pads is significantly reduced, while any moisture is wicked away to the outside. The high breathability can be recognized by the fact that some of the shoulder pads are slightly translucent when held up to the light. Because of its exceptionally high wearing comfort and because of the optimal weight distribution, the Blackrapid Double is especially suitable for heavy cameras. This includes, for example, medium and large DSLR cameras with long lenses. Like all R-Strap harnesses, the Double offers lightning-fast access to the cameras attached to the harnesses. This works thanks to the proven sling strap design: one of the straps runs on each side of the body, and each of the cameras hangs from a carabiner. The carabiners can be moved along their respective straps. This system allows for spontaneous snapshots at any time: You pick up a camera, pull it into shooting position, and pull the trigger. It hardly gets any faster than that.
