The wide and ergonomically shaped shoulder rest is an essential factor for the special comfort of the Sport. Thanks to its angled shape, the shoulder rest is perfectly adapted to the body. The belt can therefore not easily slip. The shoulder rest has a very large surface area, so it distributes the weight of the camera attached to the strap over a large area. In the rear area, the shoulder rest is the widest, so that it carries the most weight there, which relieves the shoulder. In addition, the shoulder rest has a slight cushioning effect, which means that it cushions the camera weight somewhat. All this ensures that even the heavy weight of a heavy SLR camera is almost not felt at all. And that's even after carrying it for a long time. The Brad holder strap is a special feature of the Sport. The retaining strap is attached to the belt via a metal eyelet and a buckle, so that it runs below the left shoulder along the torso. The strap further secures the Sport so that it cannot slip. The belt therefore remains firmly in place even when running, jumping, cycling or climbing.

The shoulder support has a multi-layer structure. It consists of an air-permeable mesh fabric on the side facing the body, a foam core with air holes and a mesh structure fabric on the top. This structure makes the shoulder support particularly breathable. Possible sweating under the shoulder support is significantly reduced, while any moisture is wicked away to the outside. Like all R-Strap harnesses, the Sport offers lightning-fast access to the camera attached to the harness. This works thanks to the proven sling belt design: the belt runs diagonally around the upper body, while the camera hangs from a carabiner at the side of the body. The carabiner can be moved along the strap. This allows spontaneous snapshots at any time: You take your camera, pull it into shooting position and pull the trigger. It could hardly be faster. And the strap does not move with you. The scope of delivery includes a FastenR-5 camera adapter, which can be used to attach the Blackrapid Sport to the tripod thread of your camera. This is very easy and quick. All you have to do is screw the adapter into the tripod thread of your camera and then latch the belt carabiner into the adapter's eyelet provided for this purpose.
