Also new in Stiftung Warentest's constantly updated headphone database: 16 current Bluetooth headphones - including in-ears, open-ears and headband models. One in-ear reduces ambient noise perfectly, another fails in this test point. The devices also perform very differently in terms of wearing comfort: many fit well or very well, others fall out of the ear easily...

- excellent sound
- strong colours
- Very good fit
- Transparency mode
- Bluetooth integration not perfect
For around 249 euros, you can get true wireless headphones that combine premium sound and modern design. If good sound is more important to you than perfect integration, the Pi6 from Bowers & Wilkins are definitely worth considering.
- Very nice, warm sound
- Solid battery life
- Very compact charging tray
- Mediocre ANC
- Poor Bluetooth range
- Poor companion app
- Very good sound
- Natural transparency mode
- Comfortable and high quality
- Little personalisation possible
- Could be more user-friendly
First things first: The Bowers & Wilkins PI6 are really great sounding in-ears with a look and feel that is in no way inferior to the PI8. So if you're looking for nuanced B&W sound in a pocket-sized package but don't want to spend almost 400 euros on a pair of in-ears, you'll definitely be happy with the PI6...
- Fine sound
- Very long battery life
- four essays
- Sounded a little cool
- Very meagre app features
Thanks to their fine and clear sound, the Pi6 are a good, albeit somewhat expensive, entry into the world of luxury headphones. In addition to the sound, the long battery life and high wearing comfort are also responsible for the good rating. On the other hand, the in-ears lose out when it comes to the poor app.
