Tablets should not be mounted on a dashboard if they obstruct visibility or block important controls. ProClip (Brodit's vehicle holder) is suitable for mounting smaller devices like mobile phones and GPS devices, but not for heavy devices like tablets. In some cars, the ProClip is particularly stable and can then also be used for mounting a tablet. If you want to place a tablet on the car's dashboard, each tablet-car combination must be carefully checked to determine if such a mounting is possible in each case. After that, the location, stability of the ProClip, and size of the tablet used should be considered.
