Product details

The DM-E1 stereo directional microphone in shotgun design allows you to record high-quality sound for your videos. It attaches easily to the camera's accessory shoe and connects to a wide range of compatible EOS cameras* via the 3.5mm microphone input.

Brilliant, realistic sound:With a frequency range from 50 Hz to 16 kHz, for example, you can record the entire range of a concert - from the high frequencies of the violins and flutes to the low tones of a double bass or bass guitar.
Even quiet sound sources can be recorded with a sensitivity of up to -42 dB.

Versatile polar patterns:Give your videos an impressive sound world by selecting from three different directional characteristics.
Easily switch directional patterns - 90° and 120° are ideal for high-quality stereo sound recordings in rooms of different sizes. Shotgun mode (mono) is used to record individuals speaking directly into the camera without any noise.

High-quality sound recordings:
Sound recording without unwanted background noise - a subdued microphone mount eliminates shocks from the camera or lens; the included draft shield significantly reduces wind noise; a 66 dB signal-to-noise ratio reduces background noise.
