Product details
The EF 85mm f/1.2L USM II represents the highest standard of Canon precision optics. The L-series is Canon's flagship professional lens series: an attractive combination of outstanding imaging performance
and ease of use. L-series lenses are also extremely well protected against dust and moisture.
Large aperture of 1:1.2
With a maximum light intensity of 1:1.2, sufficient brightness is quickly provided even in low light conditions without having to resort to the flash. The large aperture also allows for precise depth of field adjustment - ideal for portraits.
Attractive reproduction in the blurred area
When working with selective sharpness, a circular iris diaphragm contributes to aesthetically pleasing reproduction in the blurred area (bokeh effect).
Fast, quiet automatic focusing
The ring-shaped USM (ultrasonic motor) provides almost silently for a super fast adjustment movement. A fast CPU and optimized AF algorithms also contribute to the high speed of focusing; excellent holding torque prevents inaccuracies. If desired, electronic focusing can also be performed manually at any time.

Overall ratingVery good92/100
Very good87/100
