Die Druckqualität beim Canon kann sich durchaus sehen lassen und das auch im Farbdruck. Allerdings wäre ein SD Kartenleser wünschenswert damit man auch ohne PC Fotos von der Digitalkamera ausdrucken kann. Zudem ist der Drucker bei den Druckkosten nicht gerader genügsam.
Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis des Canon PIXMA MG5550 ist absolut stimmig. Er bietet für recht wenig Geld ein erstklassiges Druckbild, selbst Fotos gelingen ihm noch in guter Qualität. Bei der Ausstattung muss man hingegen Einschränkungen machen, zumal auch die Druckgeschwindigkeit und die Druckkosten nicht optimal sind.
